Who we are.
PriceMyJob is operated by Akoola LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as PriceMyJob, Auburn, Washington. Contact: mark@akoola.com.
What we collect.
- What you enter: name, email, phone, home address, and answers about your project and home.
- Automatically:
- IP address and approximate location (used to show your city);
- device and browser details, pages viewed and referring ad;
- cookies and similar tags, including the Meta pixel.
- From others: phone validation results (line type and activity) used to prevent fake submissions.
How we use it.
- To show your planning range.
- To match and connect you with contractors.
- To verify submissions and prevent fraud.
- To measure and improve our ads and site, and to send the communications you consented to.
How we share it.
- With contractors you are matched with or who are named on the form, so they can contact you about your project.
- With service providers that host, analyze or deliver messages for us, only to do that work.
- With advertising platforms (for example Meta), which receive event data so we can measure our ads.
- When the law requires, or to protect rights and safety.
Sale or sharing of personal information.
- Sharing your contact details with contractors who pay us for the connection may count as a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws.
- You can opt out of future sales or sharing by emailing mark@akoola.com with the subject "Do not sell or share".
- Residents of states with consumer privacy laws can use the same address to exercise the rights those laws give them.
Your choices.
- Reply STOP to texts, or email us to stop calls and emails.
- Block cookies in your browser.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at mark@akoola.com. We respond within the time your state's law requires.
Retention.
We keep lead records, including proof of consent, for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations, 5 years for consent records (the TCPA's 4-year limitation period plus a margin).
Security.
We use reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure.
Children.
The service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
IP location data.
This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com.
Changes.
We post updates here with a new effective date.
