PriceMyJob Terms of Use
Effective October 22, 2026.
PriceMyJob is operated by Akoola LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as PriceMyJob, Auburn, Washington ("PriceMyJob", "we", "us"). By using pricemyjob.com you agree to these Terms.
What PriceMyJob is.
- PriceMyJob is a free planning tool and matching service for homeowners.
- We are not a contractor. We do not inspect, quote, sell, install or warrant any work.
- Contractors you are matched with are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.
Estimates are planning ranges.
- Prices we show are general ranges based on the answers you give and typical costs. They are not quotes or offers.
- Only a contractor who inspects your home can give you an actual price.
Who can use it.
You must be 18 or older and the owner of the home, or authorized by the owner, to request contact about a project.
Your information.
- You agree the information you enter is accurate and yours.
- You authorize us to share it with the contractor(s) named on the form, or listed on our Partners page, so they can contact you about your project.
- Requesting a price does not obligate you to buy anything.
Calls, texts and email.
- When you give consent on the form, you agree to be contacted as described there.
- You can withdraw consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, ask the caller to stop, or email mark@akoola.com. We will honor it within a reasonable time.
- Withdrawing consent with us does not withdraw it with a contractor you have already been connected to; contact them directly as well.
No guarantees.
- We do not guarantee that a contractor will contact you, their availability, pricing, quality, licensing or results.
- Any agreement you make is between you and the contractor.
Third-party sites.
Links to other sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Our content.
The site, its text, design and tools belong to PriceMyJob or its licensors. Do not copy, scrape or reuse them without written permission.
Disclaimer.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limit of liability.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any contractor's acts or work.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which for homeowners is zero.
Indemnity.
You agree to cover our losses from your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms.
Disputes; arbitration; no class actions.
- Arbitration: you and Akoola agree to resolve any dispute about the service, these Terms or any call, text or email by individual binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The only exception is that either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
- Fees: Akoola pays any arbitration filing and arbitrator fees above what you would pay to file in court.
- No class or group claims: claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action.
- Mass filings: if 25 or more similar demands are filed by the same or coordinated counsel, they are administered in batches as the AAA's mass arbitration rules provide.
- Opt-out: you may opt out of this section within 30 days of first using the service by emailing mark@akoola.com with your name and phone number.
- Severability: if the class waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court, and only after any arbitrable claims are decided.
- Law and venue: Washington law applies except where the Federal Arbitration Act governs. Any court case permitted by these Terms is heard in King County, Washington.
Changes.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date.
